The COVID-19 crisis of the past two years has brought a great deal of additional burden to nearly all Canadians. One of the most significant areas of burden has been that of mental health, as a result of the pandemic, and/or as a result of Long COVID or Vaccine Injury. To address this impact, CC TeleHealth has expanded to offer mental health services.  These services provide a non-judgmental safe space to help you work through COVID-19 triggered challenges and issues that are impacting your mental, emotional, physical and overall well-being. Depending on the frequency, impact and severity of symptoms, the process may be shorter or medium-term and may focus on short or medium-term goal attainment.

Through the creation of a safe, open and trusting relationship between client and practitioner, challenges and issues can be explored and processed. One of the key determinants of a successful outcome of mental health services involves a healthy relationship between the client and practitioner. We aim to hold space and provide an opportunity for you to explore, examine and work through issues that can often feel too uncomfortable to take on alone. You and your therapist will work together to establish goals towards individual and relationship wellness. Together you will develop strategies to achieve your goals.

We recognize the reciprocal influence of mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual well-being. Health is a multi-faceted, multi-factor experience that will be improved when all aspects are being attended to. About Our Mental Health Services

Counselling is the process of giving professional help and advice to a client to help resolve personal or psychological problems.

Psychotherapy is an engaged, medium-term process focused on medium-term goal attainment.  Through the experience, clients can process, work through and come to terms with issues and circumstances impacting mental, emotional and behavioural well-being.  Psychotherapy often involves exploration of the past in order to understand and change present unwanted behaviours.  

Medication Management can be performed by Doctors or Psychiatrists.  These appointments are focused on assessment of symptoms, potential diagnosis and prescription of medication (this service is provided only by MDs).  

Group Peer Support will be led by any of our practitioners. These appointments provide small group sessions for individuals to benefit from group discussion and fraternity.

Who is most likely to benefit from this service?

  • people who were generally established in life prior to the COVID-19 crisis, but the crisis has tipped their mental health balance;
  • people who have been mostly impacted by the COVID-related issues of isolation, loneliness, grief and loss, general stress, job loss, the effects of the mandates, etc.;
  • people who have Long COVID or vaccine injury and have challenges with:
    • decreased quality of life, multiple losses, feelings of betrayal, feelings of being unsafe;
    • issues in relationships with health care providers, partners, family, friends and your relationship with oneself;
    • depression and anxiety as symptoms of Long COVID or Vaccine Injury (and may be exacerbated by job/income loss, ill health and medical trauma);
  • people who are solution-focused and want to quickly put the COVID-19 crisis stresses behind them as quickly as possible, and are not presently in a satisfactory therapeutic relationship with a mental health professional.


Who is NOT likely to benefit from this service?

  • people who, pre-COVID-19-crisis had pre-existing depression/anxiety;
  • people who, pre-COVID-19-crisis were already under the regular care of a mental health professional;
  • people who are looking for a medium or long-term professional therapeutic relationship to address their chronic mental health challenges;
  • people looking for letters on their behalf regarding legal situations (including advocacy with employers, or “fitness for work” attestations). Neither CC TeleHealth nor our therapists will provide such letters.


Counselling and psychotherapy can feel mysterious or ambiguous to anyone who may be new to these services.  Prior to your appointment, you will be required to submit a comprehensive Client Intake Form, which includes obtaining contact information, questions about presenting concerns, goals that you may have for the process of therapy, an exploration of current coping methods and other qualitative information, as well as completing an initial stress questionnaire.

First sessions involve an informal assessment of what you have been experiencing, looking for triggers and impactful events that may have contributed to your mental health challenges and an exploration into how you are experiencing the challenge(s).  We recognize that, although there are many similarities among experiences of mental health challenges each individual can be unique in their experiences, interpretation and impact on functioning.  This is why your therapist may ask more exploratory questions during the first sessions, so that they can understand what is happening with you and can then address and attend to your unique needs.

The focus on client-therapist relationship building is essential throughout the process.  Once the problems have been assessed and goals formed for the process, we work on processing and implementing interventions (tips and techniques) focused on symptom reduction and skill coping development.  As progress is made and goals attained, we will evaluate the effectiveness of the process and look at termination of sessions, referral options or moving to maintenance sessions depending on your needs.

Individual Counselling
Through counselling, the process is focused on short-term goal attainment, and clients can identify, explore and obtain the tools required to optimize mental, emotional and behavioral well-being and improve functioning.

Group Peer Support
Through group support and discussion, the process is focused on identifying and understanding the current environment, and identifying, exploring and obtaining the tools required to improve mental, emotional and behavioral well-being and optimize functioning.

Enclosed are your options for treating a COVID-19 infection. There are many things you can do on your own to reduce risk. The home treatment instructions will also help you protect yourself. 
The best protection involves access to medications that can be used both for prevention and treatment. Support through medications requires an appointment with a Health Care Practitioner (HCP). Treatment options are listed below.  Please note:  A $50 Lifetime Membership Fee plus a $50 deposit (total $100) is required to schedule your first appointment.
